Music

There are many different genres I could have picked from but it seems that I was able to pick music that I could relate to and are pleasing to my ears. I chose two that I have heard in movies that I have watched growing up. The two songs I heard in movies are Somewhere over the rainbow from Judy Garlan and the other song is My girl from Temptations. These two songs were written in two different errors but are considered POP. These song are written musicals and describe how they feel and what they are experiencing. Somewhere over the rainbow was in the movie of Wizard of Oz. Judy Garlan wrote the song in 1939. The second song that was in a movie is My girl that played in the movie called My girl. My girl was written in 1963 by the Temptations. Pop music at these times of the error consist of instruments in symphony. The song Somewhere Over the rainbow is more of music with symphony.

As I begin to explain the other songs I chose it seems that I have stuck to music that has rythym that people can dance or bop to. I like to Tuti Frutti is the only Rock and Roll song that I liked from them time of 1950’s. I was able to look the songs up and find out what genre they were and the majority of the songs are POP music. Pop music has a melody that many of us are able to dance to and enjoy the rythm that comes along with the melodies.

The music I chose has a lot to do with happiness and looking at the brighter side of things. My girl is a song about his wife in some ways he speaks about having sunshine on a cloudy day which is a metaphor. The song some where over the rainbow is a dreamy song looking for hope. The song Wannabe Written by Spice girls is a pop song that speaks about her friends and how whoever is involved with them has to be friends with theirs since they are important to them.

Many times music is produced by what they are feeling or thinking. Music is art that consists of noise, rhythm, and instruments. Pop culture is a huge hit that began in the nineteenth century. Pop culture is a culture that I am very well aware of since I was born in the 1980’s I grew up with the songs I chose because I was able to relate to them. This kind of music is pleasing to my ears because I enjoy music that I am able to dance to and feel uplifted by what I hear. I enjoy these music that consist of real life experiences and such as metaphorically speaking.
